(Part Five)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Q: My friends and I have heard much about the Number 666 that\u2019s in the Book of Revelation \u2013 even to the point, that people avoid it. Can you share a little bit about its significance to the End Time?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A:<\/strong> You are correct: people avoid that number like the plague! I, for one, am aware that it only represents the \u2018essential\u2019 number for a man, therefore, I actually use it for the ministry mailing address [The Teaching Ministry of Dr. Mike, P.O. Box 666, Greenbelt, MD 20768-0666]<\/strong><\/p>\n

The number is taken from, Revelation 13:16-18, \u201cHe also caused everyone (small and great, rich and poor, free and slave) to obtain a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast\u2014that is, his name or his number. This calls for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the beast\u2019s number, for it is man\u2019s number, and his number is 666.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

We know that the number 7 represents God\u2019s number for perfection and completion; and the number 6 represents the number of man \u2013 human imperfection. Thus, we can assume that [Antichrist] the most powerful human being that the world will one day come to know, will be a man, infused with human and demonic powers \u2013 yet, still not perfect, as God is.<\/p>\n

The most that we can allude to, concerning the number 666, is that, through the Bible, we see a repetition of words; for example, in Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:3, we find the angelic host, repeating the word, \u201cHoly, holy, holy.\u201d And we see Jesus in Scripture saying, \u201cVerily, verily, I say unto you \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

We can conclude by saying, there are three persons in the Godhead that make up the Holy Trinity: God the Father in creation, God the Son in redemption, and God the Holy Spirit operating in the church. And since, it\u2019s always been Satan\u2019s desire to replace God by imitating Him (to mankind) with an unholy trinity alliance, during his reign in the Tribulation. Satan will become God the Father, the Antichrist will become the Son\/Messiah, and the False Prophet will mimic the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

As a student of sacred Scripture that believes the Bible teaches \u201cThe Pre-Tribulation\u201d Rapture<\/strong> of the New Testament Church, when\u00a0 Antichrist is revealed, he will be identified with this number 666. And since the Bible isn\u2019t clear as to what type of mark the Beast will insist that those left behind must take as an identification symbol (possibly an implant, a microchip, etc.), it\u2019s wise for us not to speculate since the Body of Christ won\u2019t be here to accept the mark nor is there any detailed information regarding it. Our hope lies in Revelation 3:10, \u201cBecause thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
